Lesson Preparation has come to be the single most important habit that we believe a teacher can build and invest in. Please join us for two 90-min remote sessions in which we study the three basic steps of strong lesson preparation and the impact that each has on student outcomes. We will study how and why to craft a strong exemplar, how to plan for error and how to determine strong Means of Participation for student-facing tasks.
These two remote sessions will include the study of exemplar video and artifacts, as well as post-session exercises to reinforce learning and implementation after the session. We recommend this session for both leaders and teachers who are interested in establishing or improving lesson preparation habits in the upcoming school year.
WE WILL ANALYZE AND PRACTICE:
Teach Like a Champion 3.0 techniques including Lesson Preparation and Means of Participation.

YOU WILL RECEIVE:
Schools will have the option to purchase the Implementation Toolkit License. The school leader will receive a link to download copies of all workshop materials, as well as additional training materials, including:
- Full description of all techniques and practice activities covered in the training
- A fully scripted PowerPoint deck used in the workshop
- All video clips shown and talking points for each clip
- Practice activities that will strengthen teachers’ capacity to apply effective techniques in their classrooms
- Aligned coaching tools and other materials to maximize teacher development
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
This workshop is a Train the Trainer model, which means we prepare instructional leaders and school leadership teams to deliver training on Teach Like a Champion techniques back at their schools. Schools typically send a team of two to five instructional leaders and teachers in order to have several key team members responsible for turnkeying the work back at their campuses.

- Training Fee: $250 per person
- Implementation Toolkit License Fee: $200 per school for materials (optional), with signed license agreement.
