Cold Call is one of the most powerful techniques in a teacher’s toolkit — and one of the most misunderstood and therefore under utilized. Please join Doug Lemov for a 60-minute remote session in which we study what makes Cold Call effective, positive, and necessary and how to ensure that every student feels safe, supported and challenged when called upon.
This session will include the study of exemplar video and artifacts, as well as post-session exercises to reinforce learning and implementation.
WE WILL ANALYZE AND PRACTICE: Teach Like a Champion 3.0 techniques including Cold Call and Means of Participation.
